This past summer I participated in the Hamilton24 Film Festival. My team’s film placed 3rd!

The Hamilton24 Festival itself now consists of several ‘sections’–representing dance, visual art, song and film. For each, teams or individuals attempt to complete a project in under 24 hours. End projects are judged with a variety of criteria.

The film portion was of specific appeal to me.
To ensure that films were produced in the allotted time, 3 requirements were drawn at the beginning of the project.

Each film had to include:

1. A line of dialogue.
2. A prop.
3. A location.

So, on the Friday of launch…the 3 req’s were pulled out of a ‘hat’ (envelope):

1. “Bring the dog, I love animals. I’m a great cook.”
2. “An abnormally large paper airplane.”
3. “In a reflection.”
