DesignDeSign.ca is a project started after my return from Seoul, South Korea. I found the the sign system in place throughout Seoul was often more informative and intuitive than even in my homeland. As such, the design blog is meant to highlight problems with current sign systems, and to also look at innovative ways to make these systems better by drawing on practices proven abroad.

The project is aimed not at the poorest and most destitute countries, but rather it’s aim is to help those that just need that stepping stone to become a part of the ever growing new digital world. Coup Design Studio is a small design firm in Toronto that specializes in custom-designed and manufactured furniture. The site was developed on a tight deadline to showcase the brand during Toronto’s IDS. It was even eventually featured on an episode of CTV’s/Muchmusic’s ‘Degrassi‘.
