Star Woes: A Lost Hope (A parody film) from Star Woes on Vimeo.
It was Raymie’s 30th….So we had a party and made him a parody film based on his favourite. Filmed entirely on an iPhone4.
Note: Editing iPhone4 footage can be a pain. Depending on lighting conditions, the device automatically changes the frame rate from 24 to 29.97. There’s no way to force it into one mode when shooting. In the end, you have to render half your clips to match the rest. With that being said, the well-lit scenes can be gorgeous. I can’t wait to take this thing out in the summer time.

SecretHamilton.ca is a project started as a response to the question ‘Why Hamilton?’ What are the secrets that make Hamilton great? I’m taking the unorthodox method of leaving this one entirely online during the design and upgrade process. It’s currently just about ready to go, and will have real content shortly. DesignDeSign.ca is a project started after my return from Seoul, South Korea. I found the the sign system in place throughout Seoul was often more informative and intuitive than even in my homeland. As such, the design blog is meant to highlight problems with current sign systems, and to also look at innovative ways to make these systems better by drawing on practices proven abroad.

Project iD is a project started as a means to bring educational technologies to the developing world by using interactive DVDs. The project is aimed not at the poorest and most destitute countries, but rather it’s aim is to help those that just need that stepping stone to become a part of the ever growing new digital world. It’s for those on the edge of the digital divide to make the leap. In the developed world, we take for granted our abilities to navigate and understand this digital world. [Under Construction]

A MIDI composition from a few years back. It was supposed to be for a film taking place in ‘the jungle.’ I still like the breakdown at the end… I’ll have to use it in something

[Terminator 2.5 '91 Style] The goal with the track was to create something that sounded like it would fit in with the tone and audio content in that movie and time period. All music and sound effects crafted using MIDI.
